Jonathan Strauss, CFA is an investment strategist with more than 30 years of experience in analyzing the economy and financial markets.\u00a0 His focus has been on managing assets for high net worth clients.<\/p>\n

Jon holds a B.A. in economics from Yale University and an M.B.A. from New York University.\u00a0 He started his career in New York working directly for the chief investment strategist of Credit Suisse.<\/p>\n

After that, he served for 16 years as senior market strategist for a registered investment advisor in Cincinnati, Ohio which managed assets of $2 billion for high net worth clients in the Midwest, using a growth stock investment approach with a global macro overview.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In this role, he analyzed the economy and the markets with professional resources such as Ned Davis Research and the William O\u2019Neil database, and authored the firm\u2019s monthly investment review letters.<\/p>\n

He then spent time as an independent stock trader, building his knowledge of technical analysis and trading strategies.\u00a0 While working as a trader, he was sidelined by major medical problems for several years — these issues are now fully resolved.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Most recently he has been working for an ultra-high net worth family office, as a consultant on investment strategy.\u00a0 He writes a detailed weekly report analyzing market developments, and holds a weekly conference call to discuss market strategy.\u00a0<\/p>\n
